Coach Erin Warner
Assistant Coach | Hydra Aquatics
Coach Erin Warner brings a lifelong connection to Northern Virginia swimming and a passion for helping young swimmers find their confidence and joy in the water. With deep roots in both competition and instruction, Erin specializes in developmental coaching for newer athletes.
Erin began swimming at age 6 with the Tuckahoe Tigers, where she developed her love for the sport. At just 8 years old, she joined Machine Aquatics to pursue year-round training and eventually represented McLean High School across all four years of her high school career.
Her coaching journey began early — Erin started working with Tuckahoe’s summer and winter swim programs as a teenager and continued for five seasons. Through those formative years, she discovered her love for teaching and building confidence in new swimmers while still competing herself.
Coach Erin is currently applying to George Mason University, where she plans to study nursing. Her natural empathy, communication skills, and technical foundation make her a strong asset to Hydra’s developmental program.
“Swimming has given me so much joy, and coaching has let me give that joy back to others. Watching young swimmers grow in confidence is what keeps me coming back to the pool every day.” —Coach Erin
